This is your chance to own an iconic Grateful Dead poster from the September 16-17, 1966 shows at the Avalon Ballroom. Artwork is by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, based on a 1913 woodcut by Edmund Sullivan. This is a third printing circa 1966, distinguished by the "26(3)" and "Family Dog Productions 1966" located in the bottom-left corner. "The Bindweed Press, San Francisco" appears in the border above the right side of the ticket outlets strip.
The poster measures 14" x 20" and is in overall good condition. There are numerous pin-holes in the corners, a small tear in the upper-left corner, and a bend in the lower-left corner. See photos for more detail.
