THE WHO + GRATEFUL DEAD. Vintage original Essen, Germany March 1981 concert poster. Original first printing concert poster advertising The Who and Grateful Dead at the Grugahalle in Essen [Germany] on Saturday, 28th March, 1981 in what must have been a contender for the concert of the decade. This was The Who inviting the Grateful Dead to reciprocate for the Dead inviting The Who to play the "Day On The Green" shows in Oakland back in October 1976.

The entire show was broadcast by German TV channel WDR and has since become a classic bootleg recording. The poster measures 59.2 x 83.9 cm and is beautifully printed on thin, light coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded condition, bright and unmarked.
