THE GRATEFUL DEAD POSTER AVALON BALLROOM 1966 VENUE PROMO 4TH PRINTING ON LINEN. This is the original 4TH printing poster created after the concert for the poster business aftermarket to promote a pair of concerts presented by the Family Dog at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, California on October 7 & 8, 1966.

The size of the poster is 14 by 20 1/4 inches. THIS EXTREMELY RARE POSTER HAS BEEN LINENBACKED AND RESTORED BUT IS STILL IN LESSOR CONDITION. IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION ONLY. THE PHOTO ON THE RIGHT WAS BEFORE AND ON THE LEFT AFTER RESTORATION. According to wolfgangs - This reprint was produced after the concert.

The post-concert 4th printing is on uncoated index and a "33-4" credit appears in the lower right hand corner. 1967 (c) Family Dog Productions 639 Gough St. 94102 is displayed in the lower left corner. The green is a uniform kelly color, and it measures 14" x 20 1/4". IT DOES HAVE THE EXACT TEXT QUOTED ABOVE ON THE LOWER LEFT CORNER.
