RARE Grateful Dead 1968 Miami Poster Yardbirds Jimmy Page BG FD AOR Led Zeppelin

Offered here is an extraordinarily rare Grateful Dead poster from 1968. This poster was for a run of shows in Miami April 5-14. The Grateful Dead, Country Joe and the Yardbirds featuring Jimmy Page, not long before forming Led Zeppelin! Only a handful of these posters were printed and very few have survived in the 51 years since it was printed. The few that have come to market are in lesser shape than this one.

This example is solid with only a clean staple hole in each corner which are barely visible. Also a faint, clean crease in the middle which has completely flattened out is also barely visible. However it will frame almost dead mint.

This poster has received no restoration and frankly it doesn't need it. I did have one of the best conservators in the country place archival seals which you can't see on the back of the staple holes (reversible) and give the poster a light cleaning.

This poster is likely one of the top 5 rarest Dead posters from the 1960's. Poster measures 13 x18.75, almost the same size as typical Fillmore posters. The artwork is truly stunning, and unusual among its psychedelic peers of the day. Printed in black, pink, forest green, and silver on a pale marbled green paper.
