Kaiser Auditorium in Oakland, CA. Phillip Chapman Lesh is a musician and a founding member of the Grateful Dead, with whom he played bass guitar throughout their 30-year career.

After the band's disbanding in 1995, Lesh continued the tradition of Grateful Dead family music with side project Phil Lesh and Friends, which paid homage to the Dead's music by playing their originals, common covers, and the songs of the members of his band. Phil Lesh & Friends helped keep a legitimate entity for the band's music to continue.

Recently, Lesh has opened a music venue called Terrapin Crossroads, and has been performing with Furthur alongside former Grateful Dead bandmate Bob Weir. Phil Lesh is entering his 15th year of playing with a rotating mix of Friends, both old and new. With a varied mixture of some of the best performing musicians in the live music universe, Phil has kept his musical journey fresh by constantly and consistently putting together bands featuring dynamic, exciting musicians and singers working together toward keeping the music of the Grateful Dead moving forward into the future. The poster is in excellent condition overall but there is a light bend and some stiffness along the left edge due to having been exposed to some water long ago. It is completely dry and has been for years, no mildew whatsoever, but it did cause a slight curve along that left edge and you can see a faint stain from the back- the rest of the poster is totally unaffected, no stains visible on the front, no fading, no creases or tears.
