Original Vinatge Grateful Dead Fan Club Poster from 1967 Golden Road AOR
Before the Kiss Army, the Warehouse and the Ten Club there was the Grateful Dead Fan Club. The Golden Road to Unlimited Devotion. The point of this poster was to cut the bottom of it off and send it in a to POBox in the city of San Francisco and for one dollar, the Grateful Dead would send pictures, bumper stickers, buttons, discount on Pig Pen t-shirts, interviews, secrets, bios on each Dead member and personal answers to fan letters. This poster was done by the legendary Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelly and the printing job is just incredible. The technique leads to uniqueness of the print and this one is very nice. It was never cut to be sent in, but it does have light tape pulls on the back. It's the tiniest bit wavy, it's a mint condition piece if you put it on display. In little words under the characters the poster says. 14 1/8 x 19 7/8 inches. We are here to make people happy, thank you for your business.
