I would venture to say none of these exist other than this one. I will include the story behind the poster as collected via info posted on Facebook.
This edition comes from the private collection of someone VERY close to the inside of the band, who was presented this poster way back when the poster was first released. This is a heavier paper, not quite a cardstock. In the picture near the signature you will see there is a crease to note.Again, signed by the artist... And from the home of someone connected with the band. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get a signed poster right from the 1980 shows. 21.5 X 27.5. Radio City Music Hall - New York City, NY.
The following was taken from facebook responses from the Grateful Dead ticket manager (1983 - 1986) on a pic of the Radio City Music Hall poster on Oct 24, 2014 The original 1st printing run for the Radio City poster was 3,000. 500 were sent to NYC before the law suit from Radio City Music Hall stopped the rest from being distributed. Those 2,500 were kept in the basement of the Grateful Dead Productions at 5th and Lincoln in San Rafael.
The settlement of the suit was that all of the remaining 2,500 were to be destroyed. The archivist for GDP verified that they were, in fact, destroyed. A few weeks after I started working at GDP, the archivist asked me to help move some boxes into a new storage facility. There were five boxes each containing 500 copies of the Radio City Poster. The archivist told me that she just couldn't destroy them, but told the band that she had.
She allowed me to keep three of them. Concerning The Warfield Posters, those are actually rarer than Radio City because almost all of the known copies were sitting next to Bill Graham's desk when his office was firebombed... I know because I was in his office a few days before the firebombing and saw them. This response below was a private message response from Steven to me (Bill M/macc5) on this same day asking for permission to post this info in the expressobeans listing for the poster.
In thinking about what I posted, I may have misstated the number of the 1st (and only official) printing. I did the moving in June or July of 1983. The item "Grateful Dead Radio City Music Hall 1980 First Printing SIGNED POSTER" is in sale since Saturday, March 19, 2016.
