Grateful Dead Berkeley Community Center'84 Original Poster by Rick Griffin

Originally created in 1984 by Rick Griffin for a Grateful Dead show at the Berkeley Community Theater but never actually used to promote the show because Rick mistakenly listed the venue on this poster as the Berkeley Community Center. Known as the "Pharaoh" poster. This design is one of the later creations from the pen of master artist Rick Griffin.

This killer poster image was unofficially produced by the artist for a run of shows at the Berkeley Community Theatre in 1984. Grateful Dead Productions confiscated most copies of this poster as they were not officially sanctioned. I acquired this poster directly from Rick Griffin when I visited him at his home in Southern California in 1986.

I have held on to this item, stored it flat and it keep out of light since then. Poster size: 18 1/8 x 23 inches.
