GRATEFUL DEAD AOR 2.194 ORIGINAL POSTER 1ST WINTERLAND SHOW LOVE MOBY GRAPE 1967. The poster measures 15.5" X 25". The poster is in good condition with creasing throughout, a small. 75 tear on the right border and piece missing, small tear on the bottom and 2 on the left which have been taped.

There are some pinholes in the border and a few in the body. I think the borders on the left and right side of the poster was hand cut. I have many pictures of the posters please take a close look for details. Original concert poster for a show promoted by the Love Conspiracy commune.

Billed as "The First Annual Love Circus". The event was held on March 3rd, 1967.

The Love Circus featured Lights by Commune, Free Buttons, Body and Face Painting as well as a few pretty good bands, namely Love, Grateful Dead, Moby Grape, Loading zone and Blue Crumb Dump Truck Factory Circus attendees are asked to bring Bells, Incense Food, Beads, Flowers, costumes. The poster comes from The Velvet Underground/Sanford's clothing stores in San Francisco. It is a first run/original poster that was displayed in one of the stores to advertise the upcoming show.
