BG041 Grateful Dead Fillmore 1st Printing Concert Poster Signed by Wes Wilson

The Grateful Dead headlined Big Mama Mae Thornton's second appearance at the Fillmore on December 9-11, 1966. Balance is the message in this poster; just as the playing card visage could be folded to form an almost perfectly symmetrical Rorschach blot, Big Mama balanced the Dead. This 1st printing poster, measuring 14 x 21 15/16, is on smooth paper stock and has. Printing by West Coast Lithograph Co. SF running vertically in the lower right hand margin. It is signed by artist Wes Wilson in pencil in the lower right corner.

It is in mint condition with the smallest ding in the top right corner, which is only detected when looking very closely.
