AJ Masthay Sequoia Moonlight Edition Art Print Linocut Poster x/125

Being my first edition off my new (old) larger vandercook press, I wanted an image and narrative that pushed a sense of grandeur and awe. I thought back to times in my life where I was overwhelmed with that feeling, and none stood out more than a trip Kara and I made to Yosemite years ago and experiencing the immense Sequoia groves. It's almost impossible not to give these ancients a hug when standing at their feet, at least it was for me. I hope I captured a sliver of that feeling, and of natures never ending beauty, in this image. This print is BEAUTIFUL in person, the photos simply do not justify.
