1st print BG 134 Grateful Dead Santana Steppenwolf 1968 Fillmore West Poster

Offered here is one of the most sought after 1960's Bill Graham Fillmore posters and one of artist Lee Conklin's finest creative moments. BG134, the Grateful Dead, Santana, Steppenwolf, The Sons of Champlan and the Staple Singers. This is the elusive 1st printing, printed on uncoated index. This example has typical pinholes in the corners and a tiny spot of ink loss where it looks like a little sticker was once applied. I had my conservator reinforce the backs of the corners with archival rice paper. Otherwise, this poster is super clean and would frame beautifully as-is. These rarely come up for sale in any condition and even second printings have gotten expensive in recent years. This one is heading into the same territory as FD26 and BG105 and will soon only be available to those with the deepest pockets.
