Offered for sale is a gorgeous 1st print poster for a series of. August 1968 concerts at the famed Fillmore West in San Francisco.
Headliners were The Who and Grateful Dead. A host of other bands were featured as well, including Creedence Clearwater Revival, Quicksilver Messenger Service and It's A Beautiful Day. Created by legendary artists Rick Griffin and Alton Kelley, this 47+ year-old poster. Is denoted as BG-133 and remains in outstanding NM/Mint condition. Colors are fresh and vivid, just a beautiful example of this poster.
You'd be hard-pressed to find a nicer one! It is professionally framed: double-matted (acid-free of course), using archival hinges and protected by UV-resistant museum glass. Only top-of-the-line, expensive materials were used in the framing of this popular poster.
The poster measures approximately 22" x 28.4", and the framed dimensions of this piece are about 28.3" x 37".
