Vintage poster, 17 1/2" x 14 1/2", advertising a party to be held in honor of murdered Hells Angel Gino Heinicke in 1969. The poster features the organization's logo a helmeted and winged skull, as well as Heinicke's birth and death dates. The poster would allegedly have been die-cut in the shape of a headstone, but this was founded to be too expensive. Unfortunately, this poster has been trimmed at the bottom, eliminating the venue, Longshoreman's Hall, and the price. It also excludes the performance lineup, which included Cleveland Wrecking Co.
Ice, and the Grateful Dead. Bears a few damp stains at the edges, and pin holes at the corners, still a very graphically appealing and historic piece. This sale benefits a retired Angels member. We are auctioneers of historic militaria, letters, documents, photographs and relics and over the past thirty years have placed nearly 50,000 pieces in the hands of collectors and institutions worldwide.
