Grateful Dead Rare 1967 Poster 1st Album Promo Pinholes Authentic Vintage Mouse

A rare authentic original Grateful Dead poster released by WB to promote their first album, with art by Stanley Mouse. Poster is 16 5/8" High x 22 1/4" Wide. Photos provide the best information regarding condition.

There are obviously creases, multiple pinholes, some small tears, and slight fading (though colors are still very vibrant), as well as some intriguing writing on the back. Also in one corner, there is a small piece of mat board still attached where it was glued onto a backing. I did not want to remove it and risk it tearing the poster.

I'm sure a professional restorer or framer would have no problem removing it. Some collectors find this a turn-off, but to me it tells a wonderful story that only a true relic of the era can convey. This poster was obviously treasured, and I wish it could tell us all of the moments it's witnessed. It belongs in the collection of someone today who will continue to treasure it for years to come!
