Bill Graham's Original Grateful Dead Swell Dance Fillmore Poster BG 288 1st

Available is a Piece of History that should be in a museum but can be in your home. This is an Original David Byrd designed 1st printing (25 x 38) BG 288 Fillmore Poster for the Grateful Dead's 1973 Nassau Coliseum Concert known as a Swell Dance Concert.

What makes this Poster Historically significant is that it was part of Bill Graham's personal collection and shows some damage from the May 7, 1985 firebombing of his San Francisco office. The attack stemmed from Graham's open and honest criticism of President Reagan's visit to Bitburg Cemetery published in the San Francisco Chronicle. Yes it has issues from the firebombing with burnt edges, folds and water stains but it can be brought back to near mint condition with professional restoration if you wish. I prefer the Poster as is considering the Historical nature especially since the colors are still bright and crisp. If it doesnt measure 25 x 38 it is not a 1st Printing. Auctions must be paid within 2 days of close. The item "Bill Graham's Original Grateful Dead Swell Dance Fillmore Poster BG 288 1st" is in sale since Friday, January 29, 2021.
